MY FIRST AND LAST DAY ON TWITTER.COM

For those who may not know this, Twitter is one in a long line of so-called 'microblogging' tools that have sprung up recently. In 2001, I actually wrote a very small script to do the same for my personal web page, although my concoction never made headlines. It was buggy, it was slow, and it didn't connect to AIM, but on my little web page, it was the biggest thing since the <BLINK> tag, the hit counter and the yellow 'Under Construction' gif. Remember that one? Sure you do.
