Editor, Vidensbank for Innovationsteknik
THOMAS KANSTRUP

Thomas Kanstrup

Sauntering, observing and reflecting. Thomas is an idler enjoying the pampering of underplayed geniality in the shape of sublime product design, of managerial virtuosity and subtle advertising. It all depends on detail; and here he is exasperatingly particular. He craves an idea behind things and substance in expression. Thomas's critical attitude officiates as a mirror-like scalpel, firmly but mercilessly dissecting anything from innovation strategies to user interfaces and management metaphors.
Thomas holds a BA in History of Science & Learning and in Business Economics; he has spent 6 months at the Kobe University in Japan, and he has taken conversion courses in advertising and strategic planning. At the moment he is adding a superstructure in Management and Philosophy at the CBS.
As editor of the Innovation-Techniques Knowledge Exchange he contributes not only curiosity, but also reflexivity and a critical attitude – and then he makes a point of equipping his readers with knowledge about how to navigate the, at times quite chaotic, innovation field. Shallow theories, speculative modelling and other dubious elements of the innovation debate will persistently be held at bay, thus allowing exposure to only the absolutely first-rate innovation knowledge.
