Mads Thimmer

Literary historian, Innovation Lab’s most agile verbal contortionist; most at home in the existential state ‘fish out of water’— the necessary precondition for all invention, he claims. Despite a congenital informality bordering on dishevelment, Mads does cut a striking figure astride his 1958 Harley-Davidson DuoGlide, clad in a black suit and screaming orange tie.
He has tried his hand at translating Virginia Woolf to Danish and developing computer games for Games Workshop. Always in the wrong place at the right time, at least before he attained the respectability of fatherhood, Mads experienced the fall of the Wall from East Berlin. Cambridge University turned him into an Anglophile bi-linguist.
